Working capital has been discussed here before, however just a couple questions. What is the magic formula for working capital on hand?
For easy figuring say it cost me $500,000 to put my crops in. Say I have 200,000in cash. So are you saying that I should keep some of the 200,000 as working capital and not use it for inputs and borrow the rest? What is the working capital allowed to be used for ?

Wait I thought several operations are on the verge of going under. Looks like the US farmers have almost eliminated the need for an LOC.
