ONe thing I learned in the 80-'s.
My banker told me I needed to keep a sum of money where no one could get it.
Interest was in the 20% range so I put every dollar against my operating note. I didn't even keep enough cash on hand to buy a tank of gas.
As it turned out, the guys who had that money used it to hire lawyers and were treated a lot better by the banks.
