EC SoDak | Agreed. My plan is to haul in all the corn before planting. The problem I have now is my grain leg is a lake and water is going in my pit because of all the snow melt. Hopefully I can start hauling next week. The local basis is -.15, but I’m guessing any gains in the market (for old crop at least that folks have yet to sell/hedge) will be erased with erosion of basis. For 24 crop, my hope is between Dec hedges and getting the carry rolling to March/may/july will help… | |
