Short of a full blown drought, I don’t see why prices will long term rise. If we have the acres planted that are coming out with recent predictions and the carryout we have, “allegedly” to make some folks feel better, this could get fugly. My suggestion is hopefully folks hedged some 24 crop last summer and are hedging some more as we roll forward. While this year “could” spike in price and those that have hedged beforehand look like fools, it more than likely is the type of year where you should get doubles and singles and advance to the next game vs going for the home run IMHO. Keep your inputs in line and hopefully you weren’t one of those folks around my area paying multi year leases at 425-550 to grow or bought a ton of iron for taxes…
