If you are looking at a dealer there is sticker shock. Some of the items on auctions are coming down, some significantly. I'd wait, dealers are not going to be able to carry all this high dollar inventory for very long.
I have never shared anything, and farmers are the absolute worst at pooling resources. I'd be for it in many situations with the right people.
