A 6.0 needs 4:10 gears. They are pretty helpless with 3:73 gears. Your mileage wont be any different and maybe a little better with 4:10 because you aren't dogging the motor all the time


Original poster here. I might agree. It seems like the 3.73 has the engine lugging at low rpm all the time. When you need some get up and go the response feels slow and spongey. I also find the need to shut off gear 6 because it can have a tendency to dump back and forth between 5 and 6 when going up and down hills which is annoying.
