east central NE. | Years ago we landed in Paris and got to see the concord take off while waiting for our van we rented. We seen a lot of sights while there and visted my one brother in Italy. Out of our short ten day trip what I remember most is seeing Normandy beaches and the beautiful cemetery where thousands of our boys lay. The cemetery was very emotional to us , to think of all them young men that did not get to return home. You stand on one hill and see rows and rows of perfect crosses and walk over the next hill and see the same thing, while hearing the ocean waves splashing continous . We than went through the chunnel over to England which I was always amazed when they were building it and did not think I would ever go through it. | |
