north central Iowa, Hampton | I realized this morning that the bad heel pain I was having last winter is mostly gone and thought I'd make a recommendation. (No ties or financial gain from anyone involved. )
Heel pain was getting bad enough that I had an X ray done and found a bone spur growing under my heel causing plantar fasciitis. I usually wear custom arch supports, but was still getting a lot of pain before stretching the foot out every day. My chiropractor suggested heel inserts from heelthatpain.com For $30 I figured I'd give it a shot.
They feel weird. There's a ridge in them that gives some support and (I think) stretches the tendons going around the heel. My foot felt better pretty quickly and after wearing them for about 6 months, I'm not feeling any pain or tightness. I'm at the stage where I throw them in instead of my regular arch support once in a while, just to keep things pain free.
If you're having problems--well, they worked for me and the price was reasonable. |
