Pittsburg, Kansas | For a change of pace we like skillet meat pizza about once a week. It is not really pizza, but don't know what else to call it.
Brown up and chop up hamburger in a skillet to about 2/3 done. Add pepperoni and whatever else meat a person likes on a pizza. Add some sauce, red or white works. Add any veggies wanted like green peppers and onion, maybe some olives, etc. Sprinkle grated cheese on top, mozzarella or Mexican blend works good. Continue cooking till cheese is melted.
Serve with a spatula right from the pan on a hot pad on the table. Eat with a fork.
We do this for a low carb meal without any bread crust but it would taste good to about anyone who likes pizza. Very quick and easy meal. | |
