Beck’s uses some hybrids that are more area specific. Beck’s says that companies like Pioneer use hybrids that have the best yielding avg across the nation, not necessarily the best yield in specific areas. Beck’s says that they get access to these hybrids that are more area specific, and then offer them to that area. So I guess you could call that “the leftovers,” others call it getting a hybrid more tailored to their specific area.
