I didn't plant as many longer season numbers as I have the last few years but here are some thoughts on the stuff around 110 day.
Pioneer 1185 looks really good in eastern and central IA. DK 59-82 looks really good in areas but have some questions in other areas. Pioneer 0953 has some big kernels filling again this year. 1197 looks solid again and haven't had any wind to mess with it (knock on wood). We'll see how it all finishes a month from now.
we planted some 1185 last year and was a high yielder...planted more this year and so far looks to be just as good |
