SC Wisconsin | Last year I had a piece split between 2 varieties. One variety I was super hopeful for on spring looked like absolute death all summer when we were dry. According to the weigh wagon, it blew the doors off the variety that looked good all year long. Was a good lesson in not judging how a corn looks until harvest. Some of these varieties are so defensive that they can fool you. I guess that's why they can charge what they do | |
