| Raising my hand, but only half way up as I just went through shoulder replacement six weeks ago. Was your rotator cuff tear a complete tear? Mine was and of course you can't get in for surgery right away and by the time I jumped through all the hoops it was three months later and surgeon could not pull it up all the way. Shoulder had been treated different ways for ten years for arthritis, so decided a reverse shoulder replacement was in order. I'm 68 and have serious hardware in my body. Two knees, one hip and now a shoulder. Runs in our family of 5 siblings, 8 knees, 2 hips and 2 shoulders. Edit to show newest hardware
