NW Iowa. / SW Arizona | My wife and I have been trying to cut out our carbs in our diets since mid-April. I’ve lost around 18 pounds so happy with the results. My problem is I haven’t had a banana since going on the diet as they are high on carbs I’ve been having a lot of leg cramps in the middle of the night especially about 4:00-4:30 a.am.. My wife is having the same issue. I drink a lot of water throughout the day so I’m positive that’s not the issue. My wife on the other hand doesn’t drink near as much water as she should. We both started taking potassium pills about a week ago hoping it would replace my lack of banana in our diets with no help.
What else can we do to eliminate leg cramps? I’m seriously thinking of eating bananas again but thought I’d look for suggestions on here first. Thanks, Mark | |
