Potassium you can get from "low salt" or "no salt" salt replacement granules. Magnesium one third dose of "milk of magnesia" in a half cup of soda water.
Processed food has lots of salt. Cutting it out lowers your salt intake. Plus low carb requires more salt. Result more salt needed on a low carb diet. Drinking more water means you will need more salt as it gets flushed out with urine.
I'm not a doctor, know not what I speak of, so pay no attention.
Potassium pills are very low dose (all limited) because of the fear of overdosing. Yet you can use all the no salt you want to buy (potassium chloride). Go figure. | |
