Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Good point on that. When testing ours last year I got tripped up by forgetting that myself.
As I recall, the switch must be set to road to allow fast road speed. This will not allow the sprayer to spray since they don't want you to try to spray in road range. Switching to field prevents road range but allows spray.
I think that's the way it is supposed to work and does make sense. For some reason I don't think we are forced to use the field/road switch to go fast. Maybe the previous owner rewired around that.
