Do the best you can. If you don’t like the guy you are dealing with ask for another person. Make specific requests as far as location and depth to not put you out for future plans. I personally have always had good experiences with pipelines.
A few years ago they repaired a line on my farm. Asked their point man what I should ask for for damages. Another gentleman called to negotiate final settlement and I told him exactly what I wanted. He was a bit of a prick. Called the original point man and told him that the guy the pipeline sent to negotiate was a prick. Got a call fifteen minutes later with an apology from the pipeline and that they accepted my offer. | |
