Not sure how old it is, but before I was born, there is a Frigidaire, sits in Dad's basement, I have personally seen that freezer floating 2 times in my life, when the basement was flooded. Still works fine, but Dad has little use for it. Mom froze a lot of food, over the years. We should clean it out, and shut it down, I bet some of the frozen food in there is over 10 years old.

Those old chest type freezers were built to last. 52 years of reliable service, never a repair.........ever.
