We still have one that my grandparents bought in the mid-1950s, shortly after power came to the farms. It's never had any service work, only trouble is the inside of the lid is starting to deteriorate. Don't know how long it'll keep going but I dread the day it does and I have to get that thing out of the basement. It's about as big and heavy as a modern car.
Is 50 years old for a Freezer ?
