Northeast Iowa
Upper Iowa Beef in Lime Springs https://www.upperiowabeef.com/. Pretty much the whole beef portion of the meat case at Ye Old Butcher Shoppe in Rochester was full of Upper Iowa Beef product last year when I was there. Two guys at the counter said they'd had good experience with it. See their delivery truck on the road at various locations.

Their grid got a bit more aggressive (realistic) last year compared to previous years, but it's still based off an Iowa Interior Top type price, not an active bid-the-base type grid. They will take some color. Here's the details on what works. https://www.upperiowabeef.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/UIB_Cattle-...

Getting data back is hit and miss, which is exactly what I would expect from one person in particular. Some things never change.

They ran for about 3-4 months as Lime Springs Beef in 2015 and then reopened as Upper Iowa Beef in 2016. Not entirely sure if the original investors still own a smaller percentage of it or nothing at all of the new organization. They buy some cattle at the sale barns, too. They'll take delivery of anything from a couple head to semis.
