An operator that is hard on a clutch is probably going to be hard on a power shift also. I watched a guy loading a pan with a 4020 years ago, he would run in 5th until the engine nearly stalled, then pulled down to 3rd. The tractor would stop, quiver, then go into 3rd. He did that every load. People do that with rippers and chisel plows too.
