North of London
I'm not sure you suggestion that children have very few complications from Covid is true.

there are reports of around 50% suffering long haul covid with symptoms returning or lasting months after initial infection

Vaccines for children under 12 have just been approved in Canada so only a few have had the vaccine which became available to the in theist few days
In Ontario there are half a dozen schools closed now because of outbreaks

A 14 year old we know caught Covid almost a year ago before any vaccines were available and was still suffering 'brain fog' months later.

Any risk from the vaccine is minimal to the risks of catching covid and stats show only a small % of vaccinated catch covid compare to the unvaccinated.
