My mom made sure all 10 of her kids (5 boys, 5 girls) could make something edible out of whatever happens to be in the cupboard. Out of 3 boys and 1 girl who are married so far I think 1 has a wife who's a better/ more inclined cook than he is. He's put on about 70 lbs in the 10 months since the wedding. We don't eat out much.
Anybody thinking of going back to cooking at home?
