Covid is not the most deadly for a person getting it, try Ebola or Rabies which is around 100% fatal
What makes Covid one of the most dangerous is the ease of transmission so many people get infected and even with a low % of fatalities millions have died around the world.
I think the US has passed the 700,000 mark so getting close to 3/4 of a million in the US alone
