Chebanse, IL..... | Article in local paper this a.m. Local hospital mandated all employees get anti-covid shot(s) or be terminated by a soon-to-be date.
Spokesperson for that local facility was quoted as proudly stating, "before the mandate we (the fairly large hospital) were only at 30% vaccinated. Now today we are at 70%." Employees have seen the light apparently.
The starting time was 2 months ago, "now" is as of this past Thursday.
Should facilities take pride in stating that a loss-of-employment mandate made medical professional people jump on board the vaccinated wagon? I also know that the percentage did increase slightly because some of the non-vaccinated folks self-terminated which would increase the vaccinated percentage.
Yes, I know, before you tell me. It's a CAVU, cool (47 degrees), light wind day in NE IL also. |
