In Decatur County I0wa, I know of one family, where the wife has moved out of the house that her husband lives in. She took their kids and moved into another house, about 15 months ago. She has not been out of the new house, to do anything except get the stuff that she has delivered to the house, since that date. Kids are home schooled.
