| This is only anecdotal, and intended to be nothing more. Just checked and I have 1,255 Bookface friends. There are people who went to Iraq/Afghanistan/Vietnam, who operate heavy equipment, drive big trucks, ride motorcycles, fly high-performance aircraft, race cars, shingle roofs, quarry rock, are pipeliners or boilermakers, sort cattle, climb silos and bins and elevators, handle NH3 propane and other hazmat, use chainsaws, shoot guns, etc. There are also some who might be the kindest and sweetest people you could ever meet, but who take basically zero calculated risks on a daily basis.
With one notable exception which I guess proves the rule, I could draw a pretty straight line between the people who post lots of Rona-panic and the people who have been living life as normally as possible. | |
