NE NEBRASKA | I live in a small town and have basically 4 neighbors within a block area. Several years ago a family moves in with a huge black dog. The guy told me how friendly and good his dog was. I didn't see it much for a few years but then all the sudden it was outside all the time. It started running up to me barking but kept a distance. One day it charged me and bit my boot. I jumped back into my pickup. City police office was parked up the street so I drove abs spoke with him. He said 2 of my neighbors had complained the day before and he had a talk with dogs owner. Officer said I couldn't shoot dog myself in city limits and to use repellent spray. I told him I wanted to file a complaint. City police officer went back to dogs owner to write a ticket and ended up shooting the big black dog when it charged him. | |
