Central Western VA Mountains | Our bank we’ve had for probably 20 years has been bought or merged with another big bank. Just reading the user agreement for online banking just makes my head spin. I think it’s time for a change.
What are your thoughts on credit unions? I know they have insurance like FDIC, but is it federally backed the same or some market place insurance that may or may not pay up in the event of a financial crisis and the credit union goes belly up - along with others?
I don’t think much of these big banks - maybe a local credit union might be a better option. |
