Nw Iowa | This whole thing feels a bit like a bubble, land up almost 40-50% here. Next years margins are going to be pretty tight. 3% interest on 8000 land last year. 240$. 3% interest on 12000 land this year 360$ Here prices will also push up taxes. Even if you have 50% cash down, still a bit scary at these prices. Would hate to be mortgaging something else with no money down. Really hard to make good decision, especially with government so out of wack. Used to care about small businesses, now not at all. | |
