Minnesota | Thanks. As I stated on the last yield update link you posted, any of these could be “cherry picked” as stated. As we start and I hear Of others that have it’s so variable. Some extremely high producing counties that are normally 200 and 60 plus are 120 and 35. Then there’s a few counties I’ve been hearing 230+ and 70+. These were 2 counties that had more rain than others. Have friends in Iowa where it was better than expected, HOWEVER, the expectation was already 30-50 bushels less than a normal yield. Overall, what I’m hearing and seeing is hard to wrap my head around. I think MN has a chance to come in maybe a little bit better than I anticipated, but I’ve also never seen such variability before. It’s still a little early for me to say for sure yet. | |
