Western illinois | It did just up and die in this area. Nobody, and I mean nobody, is talking about good yields. Many thought they had best ever, but it just isn’t there. I don’t remember ever seeing such good looking ears produce sub normal yields. Personally, I’m over half done with corn and just now picked a field that didn’t get docked for test weight. It was only 57#. I’ve had plenty from 48-52#. Almost all acres in this area were sprayed with fungicide. Tar spot is brutal. | |
