You could have told your story without mention of a religious costume. You chose to include it. Most people would have just seen a woman with a mask. Says alot about you and your character.
So would it have been better to say 'black coats' or mexican mennonites ?
Everybody has a burr up there azz anymore......
If he wanted to talk 'religion' issues he could have brought up all the native children gathered up by Catholic and United Churches and sent to schools to have them accept 'white mans' waya and mention how many thousand are buried in Church cemataries with no markers or even having the church school let the parents know that they died....
We won't even mention all the Catholic priests who abused young boys to satisfy there pleasures |
