Pittsburg, Kansas | We are riding around the Catskill mountains in southern NY right now and wild or abandoned apple trees are along the highways regularly. We were amazed at the number of trees we saw in fence lines.
Some looked like crabapples but regular varieties too. I wondered what varieties they were as have been considering planting a full size tree like we had when I was a kid rather than a dwarf variety. | |
