Highland Center, in Southeast Iowa | PUG - 9/11/2021 16:36 We have been thinking about doing a major remodel on our farm house. It could turn into tearing it down and starting over. We are looking for ideas. Anyone have ideas where to start. Any websites or apps that might help in planning or design ideasor. This a couple years down the road just need ideas. We have talked with the builder we want he is 2 1/2 to 3 years out as it stands right now. Thanks for any ideas.
One place to look might be the facebook page "For The Love Of Old Houses". Many many vintage houses that have been overhauled from stem to stern, some that are close to original, some modern to the point of the interior looks 100% 2021 sleek. Will give you a good idea of where you want to go.....both ways...what you love and what you hate. Look at the pics as a couple and individual, and make lists. In my mind, being out 2 1/2 to 3 years isn't a bad thing at all. |
