just a tish NE of central ND | Small dairy went away in ND for just the very reasons you outlined.We were of those whom were going to work at makeing dairy work for us and it slipped the other way faster than we gained in the business.That meant we would stay small forever untill we were gone..We missed the era where folks paid for living and farms with milking and dairy..
It seems all cattle farms are going the same way here in ND right now.(no dairy left in the state of ND.to speak of)
