Subject: RE: Inflation and livestock markets

Linneus Mo.
One of the things that is also different is that the processors of grains work on a margin.
Elevators have a margin.

Ethanol plants have a margin.

Bio-diesel is a margin business.

Packers and processors of livestock are not working on a margin that is fixed and well established. they get all the gravy and say it is inflation and it doesn't pass through until their forced or until they own the whole process through vertical integration. Then they blame it on feed prices. This is the same thing in Dairy, our Co-Op's are processors sucking off the cream and they have their chosen ones that are big enough that they share with.

SO the little guy gets the inflation plus the bloody nose over the housewives food budget exploding.
