Subject: What kind a material to lay around edges of Barn for gravel to save from weed whacking

Barry County, MI

and would you use washed gravel from Pit or crushed limestone I don't want any grass or weeds to grow, come out maybe a foot or two foot whatever is recommended just so we can mow and not spend hours every week weed whacking thanks for the information Archie
