Southern MN | Not arguing that Missouri wasn’t in a world of hurt in 2012. Remember seeing several acre hay fields that had been baled with one bale of hay to show for it. I did trespass a few rows into some really tough looking corn to use the corn field facilities and when I peeled back a few husks there were better than I expected ears on the corn with kernels. All I meant by bringing up Missouri and 2012 was that to us northerners that don’t know drought don’t really know what drought makes the corn look like. According to a few on here 1/2 the NW’s corn has to be 4’ tall to show there is drought stress and affect the state average yield. | |
