Subject: grass finished vs grain finished beef

Pittsburg, Kansas

This PDF has a lot of information but it does not quantify the actual amount, only ratios from what I saw. I think some of the papers referenced would provide that information but I did not dig into it enough to find out. I don't agree with some of what they said about cholesterol but all in all a lot of information in the piece and I think some interesting reading.

I have been of the opinion that adding a couple cans of sardines a week will make more difference in my Omega 3 intake than the difference between me eating grass finished or grain finished beef. But I have no figures to support that and would gladly be corrected if I am wrong, which I may very well be.

I know I like eating well marbled beef better than super lean.
