Everyone always talks about downtime like they are broken down constantly. We ran our last combine to 4000 sep hrs. And I don’t think we ever lost any more than a couple hrs a few times. In reality, not sure if that’s as big a deal as some think.
My feelings exactly. The operations that roll yearly apparently are in position to do so. Those of us that aren't, don't. We work on stuff. When they say "Spent 30K at JD", in reality it was 15K. Labor didn't make it better.
I have a 9860 and 9870, both last yr models, and I have not EVER lost more than a few hours, per season.
I see it as justification, we need warranty, bs |
