When I sold Deere, guys like you were my favorite customers. I mean that 100%. You guys automatically assume that new is way higher than it actually is and never bother pricing new vs used, which makes it much easier to sell overpriced one year old equipment to you.
Bought a 5000 bu/hr capacity combine that was 2 years old with 200 hours on it for $210K a year ago. What’s a new one cost these days $500K? I think I did alright.
Just bought a 300HP MFWD tractor less than a year old loaded with 200 hours on it for less than $240K. What’s a new one $400K? Think I did alright.
Again. I’ll let the new paint guys take the barrel Job on depreciation.
