Thank you agpro:
I was begining to think I was the only Wheat Farmer in Kansas that was against bioWheat. Every market analyst I see today says the world is drowning in surplus Wheat. Now imagine what the price would be if it were bioWheat, double the production we would have $2.00 wheat today. What would that gain us, not a damn thing. Only the seed company would benefit. I don't want to be stuck like my corn friends buying $300 per bag seed. But the deck is stacked (or I should say bought) against us. Our only hope is that our overseas customers refuse to buy Frankenstein Wheat. I know of 2000 acres is Kansas that will never see a seed of it, atleast while I am alive. Our enemy seems to be the Wheat Growers Assn and the Wheat board that has the .02 wheat tax on us using our own money to try to do us in.
