Hard to find 16 rows and you have to pay a premium for them. The IH 183 and CIH version 1820 or 1830 good cultivators also, but not as heavy and as easy to adjust.
wellll saying they are the best might be getting alittle carried away…..
in my mine experience after having S-tine and IH vibra shank and single sweep IH, I’ll have to say the single sweep wetherall we still have is probably the best cultivator i ever used. Downside is the thing weighs a ton (actually 3 ton +) and can be fairly high maintenance( a lots of wheels and coulters) Changing shares on it can be bugger as well if they are left on alittle too long.
but it can be set 7 ways to Sunday, didn’t find too many conditions I couldn’t cultivate in. Also being able to cultivate at speeds that were unheard of with the more “traditional” machines is kinda nice.
