I am not a cow or irrigation guy. But I would have a HUGE problem with someone hanging an irrigator over my property without a prior easement that’s on file at the courthouse.

If there is no easements, I would tell the neighbor your putting up lights and poles for your feed lot, and he is no longer welcome to trespass his irrigator on your property.



I don’t live in irrigated country, so my perspective on how this is typically handled may be wrong, but I would approach it this same way, assuming no easment and the neighbors aren’t interested in working with you. I am amazed how some people act.

Give them a head’s up “so they can figure out their pivot modifications” before the install. Best if via text for date stamps.
