But the people basically telling you to wreck there irrigation equipment is ludacris. That’s vandalism IMO. I’d have a very hard talk before d ever think of doing anything that crazy.

Vandalism is what your pivot is doing to my property. It is a simple issue for the pivot owner to address.

It is the pivot owners choice, fix the problem or I will stop the pivot at MY property line.

This is an issue that should have been dealt with before the property was split and sold. Either the pivot or pens should have been shortened/moved, or at the least an easement established for the pivot to overhang the feedlot. That would at least clarify who the ass is when a new light pole near the property line crashes a $15,000 span. (Lookin’ at you, jdswmo)

We have at least one property where the buyer of the buildings had to sign off acknowledging that the field owner or operator was not responsible for any water crossing the property line or anything it may do. Even when the pivot doesn’t cross the line, that doesn’t stop the wind from taking the water there. The pivot was there when they acquired the property, it shouldn’t come as any surprise that water comes out of the pivot.
