Kettle Moraine, WI
Past few years cook most all meals at home most days though eat at restaurants 3 times a week for quick lunch mostly.

And cooking is not breaded chicken strips, frozen french fries, box lasagna, cake from box mix, Mac and cheese, and the like. Very little separate that from eating out and may be even less healthy.

If I want pizza, it is from crust from scratch. Chili is from dry beans. Mac and cheese is cheese bechamel. Lasagna is homemade noodles and sauce. Chocolate syrup is sugar, cocoa powder, and salt.

Cooking that way makes grocery shopping very easy. Milk, butter, eggs, flour, sugar, oatmeal, dry beans, herbs, spices, and occasional ingredients.

Fun fact. Science has shown food made by someone else tastes better than food you make yourself.
