South Central MN | From a lot of sources most agree that less than 3% harvest lost is acceptable, which sounds high and probably is but I think that includes everything from head loss to the "phantom" yield loss of dust out the back. Ideally I aim for the lowest amount of loss but there is always some. This year though on early harvested fields it is really obvious, because all those seeds on the ground have sprouted and are now growing...
