Near-north Ontario, French River | Typical seeding rate is 1.6-2.1 Million/acre , in my part of Ontario ,depending on planting date Should be relatively easy to get your losses down to .25-.5% which would be in the .25-.5/bu acre in a 100 bu wheat crop. Should be able to get under a 1/2bu in a 200/bu crop corn crop. In either case the loss generally appears much worse than it actually is. |
