Won’t more EV’s and renewable energy drive oil prices down which should then be reflected in lower fertilizer prices? I’be been using composted feedlot manure for years. It’s going to be higher for sure, but that’s to be expected with these outstanding commodity prices we’re seeing. This year our applied cost per ton was $18-20 per acre. This coming year I’m being quoted a $4 increase per ton.
Sure, it may drive oil prices down some. But how much electricity is used from start to finish of harvest? Electricity is already ridiculously priced. |
